Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to join our remote team. As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining cloud infrastructure security through threat detection, vulnerability scanning, and incident response.

Responsibilities:
- Implement cloud security best practices and policies across AWS and Azure environments
- Conduct regular security assessments and penetration tests
- Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts
- Respond promptly to security-related incidents and vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines
- Educate staff on cloud security awareness and protocols

Skills:
- Proficiency in AWS and Azure cloud environments
- Experience with cloud security tools and services
- Understanding of security standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR)
- Ability to apply threat modeling techniques and identify mitigation strategies
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation tasks

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred
- Relevant industry certifications (CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Security Specialty) are a plus

Must Have Skills:
- AWS and Azure security configuration and monitoring expertise
- Experience with incident response protocols
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Salary

Compensation based on experience and qualifications, ranging from $120,000 to $145,000 annually.
