Description

We're looking for a talented Senior Backend Engineer to join our growing team and develop highly scalable and performant backend applications. As a key member of our tech team, you'll design, build, and maintain Python-based applications using Django framework to ensure the reliability and scalability of our services.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and deploy scalable backend solutions using Python and Django.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry standards.
- Build RESTful APIs and microservices to integrate seamlessly with front-end platforms.
- Collaborate closely with front-end developers, product owners, and designers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate actively in code reviews and mentor junior team members.
- Ensure performance optimization, ongoing maintenance, and application improvements.

Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in backend engineering, predominantly using Python.
- Strong experience and knowledge of Django and Django REST framework.
- Solid understanding of Docker or Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Experience deploying applications to cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g. Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI).
- Excellent debugging, optimization, and analytical skills.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and communication skills.

Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred

Must Have Skills:
- Python, Django, REST API development, SQL, Docker

Salary

$130,000-$160,000 depending on experience
